Etymology: "Schloshed" is a playful alteration of "sloshed," the slang adjective for being very drunk. The initial "sch-" sound, borrowed from Yiddish-influenced English, is added to imitate the thick, slurred speech of someone who has had too much to drink, so the word sounds the way the state it describes feels. The added "sch-" sound is what turns an ordinary slang word into a joke about pronunciation itself. The spelling and sound together suggest the drinker's tongue is too heavy to manage a plain "s," which is the whole point of the coinage.
