Etymology: "Restyler" is about as transparent as English coinages get: it is the verb "restyle" with the agent suffix "-er" attached, so it names whoever or whatever restyles something. "Restyle" itself is "re-" ("again") plus "style," which in English traces back to the Latin "stilus," a pointed writing instrument that also gave the word its sense of a manner of writing or expressing oneself. The "-er" ending is the same one found in "baker" or "writer," and it is productive enough that new agent nouns of this kind are formed freely as needed. The surprise here is less in the word than in its usefulness: a restyler is simply someone who gives an existing thing a new look, whether a car, a website, or a hairdo, and the word does exactly that job without any history of its own beyond its parts.
