Religiousized

Definitions
- Having been given a religious character or purpose, often by transforming something that was previously secular
- Converted into something with a religious nature, so that a secular matter takes on sacred meaning or practice
- Rendered religious in form, content or significance through a process that imbues something with spiritual qualities
Etymology: "Religiousized" is the past participle of "religiousize," a verb meaning to make religious, formed from "religious," the suffix "-ize," and the participle ending "-d." "Religious" comes from Latin "religiosus," which derives from "religio," a word whose own origin the Romans already argued over: Cicero linked it to "relegere" ("to re-read"), while later Christian writers preferred "religare" ("to bind").
