Etymology: "Enureses" is simply the plural of "enuresis," the medical term for involuntary urination. The Greek root behind it is "ourein," meaning "to urinate," which also gives us "urine" itself, and the prefix "en-" means "in" or "into." Together they form "enourēsis," roughly "urinating into" (the bed or one's clothes), a description of the condition rather than a coined euphemism. The Greek noun passed into Latin as "enuresis" and from there into English medical writing, where it has remained a technical term.
