Etymology: "Diseasedly" is simply "diseased" with the adverbial suffix "-ly" attached, the same way "sickly" or "wearily" are built from their adjectives. "Diseased" itself comes from "dis-" (a prefix meaning apart or away, here with the sense of reversing or removing) combined with "ease," which in its older sense meant comfort or a state of well-being. A diseased body was, in effect, one that had lost its ease. The adverb follows the adjective's pattern: it describes an action performed in a diseased manner, such as moving or behaving as though one were ill. Because it is a regular formation from an existing English adjective, it needs no special coinage or single inventor, and it appears rarely in print compared with the adjective it derives from.
