Etymology: "Blogospheric" is simply "blogosphere" with the adjective-forming suffix "-ic" attached, so its meaning follows directly from the word it grows out of. The base word "blogosphere" is itself a compound of "blog" and "sphere," the second part borrowed in the sense of a surrounding realm or domain, as in "atmosphere" or "biosphere." Together they name the whole community of blogs taken as a connected world. Adding "-ic" to a noun such as "sphere" gives an adjective meaning "of or relating to" that thing, which is how "blogospheric" arrives at the sense "relating to blogs."
